Kit holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Southern California and a Masters of Science in Human Movement and Performance from Western Washington University. She specializes in biomechanical evaluation/treatment of orthopedic injuries related to running, walking and cycling.

Kit is internationally renowned within the cycling industry, especially her work regarding the foot-pedal interface and the biomechanics of the lower extremities in cycling.
Kit teaches continuing education with CyclePoint LLC (TheCyclePoint.com) for physical therapists and medical professionals internationally and works as a consultant within the cycling industry. She has presented at several international bike fit symposiums including the International Cyclefit Symposium (ICS 2012) in London and the SICI International Cycling Science Symposium in 2007 and 2008. She also guest lectured within the University of Washington Physical Therapy Department for gait and orthopedics.
